New video release of the EU-funded project CT Public Spaces.

The 3-minute piece shows the main achievements obtained so far by the project, in addition to explaining its objectives, giving visibility to the institutions of partner countries, and showing unpublished images of the activities carried out to date.

 

The CT Public Spaces Youtube channel is fed with a new video release in its three working languages: Spanish, English and French.
CT Public Spaces is a project that shares the Spanish Guardia Civil knowledge and experience to protect public spaces and large events. Funded by the European Union through its Foreign Policy Instrument Service (FPI), this project is currently focusing on Ghana, Kenya and Senegal. The International and Ibero-American Foundation for Administration and Public Policies (FIIAPP) is responsible for the contract management of the project, with activities implemented by the Spanish Guardia Civil through the Rural Action Unit (UAR), which has a Rapid Action Group (GAR) and the Special Training Centre (CAE) incorporated into this project.
The project includes all the aspects to be considered to ensure the protection of public spaces in which there is a terrorist thread, or which requires protection on an ad-hoc basis. The CT Public Spaces project contributes to peace and security promoting fair, peaceful and inclusive societies pursuing to the Sustainable Development Goals, as there could be no sustainable development without peace and security.
